DVB-H Setup: Go Back
The DVB-H testbed illustrated in the figure consists of a CAMMP application server along with service accessibility through a DVB-H, 3G and WiFi gateway. The testbed provides access to both live and on demand content. The testbed is connected to a 500W DVB-H transmitter with a limited permission to do broadcast testing. As the figure shows, CAMMP is capable of adapting the content to the fit the right formats.
Furthermore, a transportable testbed called DVB-H in a box (DIAB), illustrated to the left, has been created. DIAB is based on open source software combined with applications developed in-house and enables service delivery over DVB-H broadcast and WiFi data link.
